Currently, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance department.
Job Description:
We are looking for an Accountant with a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience with Tally Software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial documents, and compliance with legal regulations. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of tax laws (including TDS and GST), and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally Software.
- Prepare and manage journal entries, ledgers, and all required financial statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and reconciliations.
- Administer all tax and regulatory compliance initiatives, including TDS and GST filings.
- Coordinate with the finance team to complete audits and manage budgeting processes.
- Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an accountant, with expertise in Tally Software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial standards and taxation, especially TDS and GST.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software and databases.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
